Ever go into a store and find yourself drawn to the rack full of crazy color?
Luscious greens that remind you of smoothies.
Bright reds and blues like the berries that you’d sprinkle on your breakfast.
Golden yellow mango slices that are Instagram-worthy.
….(ohh, my mouth is watering about now…)
You’re tempted to buy those bright-colored frocks….but …hmmmm….wait, hold on, you wonder….
“Do I dare to wear those fuchsia pants?”
Do you really need to ask?
Of course you dare!
Where to?
Anywhere and everywhere!
Hey, that’s me! LUCKY me, I should add! Lucky me, la-dee-dah strollin’ down the cobblestone street in a city that looks like it jumped out of the pages of a Grimm’s Fairy Tale about princesses and castles. And this street just happens to be called Castle Street! Seriously!
(It’s in a teeny country in the northeastern part of Europe called Lithuania. This is in the old town of Vilnius, the capitol.)
And see??? I’m wearing my fuchsia linen baggy pants, too! You really CAN wear fuchsia pants anywhere and everywhere!
It was a bit chillier that summer morning than I expected, and I didn’t have any jackets in my suitcase. Good thing I was able to score a good quality cashmere/cotton lilac sweater at a vintage store. Even though it’s big on me (it’s actually a man’s sweater, can you believe that? A lilac Izod sweater, too, kid you not!)
You’d think that fuchsia and lilac don’t really match…I was totally surprised because, actually, they do. And I just happened to have a bright scarf with the same bright colors mixed in with mint green, sky blue, white, pale pink.
And who would have thought that fuchsia could even go with my newly dyed bright red/orange hair??! Ha!
