MASKS

As the death number of Americans due to COVID-19 has rapidly approached and surpassed a half a million human beings, we have become totally immune to this enormously large number.
I’d like to remind everyone that those were all people:
Humans with relatives, with friends, with life histories, with souls.
We cannot forget.
I did a rough count of the number of cloth masks (including a few cloth head caps) I’ve made in the past year.
Total = approximately 1735.

I pretty much won’t be making any more. (OK, so maybe I will. Just probably not in large quantities. I’ve heard from some people that they may not be such a bad thing to wear during future winters to avoid getting flu. Not a bad idea.)

I really hope that “this, too, shall pass”.
We have so many problems in our society.
COVID just amplified them.

I am saddened.
